Justice Loves Babies
Justice Loves Babies Given to Teachers at National Conference
By Liz Townsend

Darlene and Danielle Wibeto, authors of “Justice Loves Babies.”
During the National Education Association (NEA) annual meeting in New Orleans July 1–3, teachers received free copies of a Justice Loves Babies, a wonderful pro-life book. Five hundred copies were distributed at the Teachers Saving Children booth at the NEA Expo, and the authors were on hand to greet the teachers and sign their book.
“It was a huge blessing,” said Darlene Wibeto, who wrote the book with her sister Danielle. “We were put in a place where a lot of people weren’t pro-life. We had some people refuse to take it, saying they don’t want a controversial book in their classroom, but most people were excited about getting a free book.”
The Wibeto sisters, along with illustrator Sarah Atkinson, have produced a truly touching book that shows a child’s love and protectiveness for his unborn little sister. In words and images that children can understand, it expresses the gentle message that all life is precious. Pro-lifers were thrilled to meet the sisters at NRL Conventions in 2008 and 2009.
A board member of Teachers Saving Children, which is dedicated to establishing a respect for all human life, especially among professional educators’ organizations, heard about Justice Loves Babies and suggested that it be included at the group’s exhibit booth at the NEA annual meeting. Since each exhibit item had to be approved by the pro-abortion NEA, the group was pleasantly surprised that the book passed muster.
“With God’s help over a 2½ day period, our exhibit puts the facts and the wonder of human development before the largest assembly of decision-making educators in this nation,” said Connie Bancroft, executive director of Teachers Saving Children. “I knew that it would be a miracle from God for this book to be approved since in the past none of our materials had even one reference to the word ‘abortion.’”
Darlene and Danielle joined Teachers Saving Children at the booth and received encouraging words from some teachers who praised them for standing up for life. “We had a lot of teachers behind us,” said Darlene. “They said they would do anything they could to get it into their school libraries.”
The members of Teachers Saving Children have persevered with their mission despite the opposition of pro-abortion teachers. “With the wide diversity of the individuals who attend the NEA Expo, reception of our exhibit was mixed,” Connie Bancroft explained. “Those who did visit our exhibit were very gracious and thanked us for being there. Individuals were surprised that we were giving the book as well as other materials free to those who were interested.”
The Wibeto sisters were very happy with their experience and the opportunity to bring Justice Loves Babies to a wider audience. “The most amazing thing is knowing that it’s going to be put in the hands of children,” Darlene said. “They can learn about where life begins. We’re so excited about having it go into public schools, to have our book go out and be a light to the world.”

Crunch Time
The 2010 Elections are looming large on the horizon. What we do next is of the utmost importance. Right now most of Washington, DC is taking care of final business before leaving for August recess. Final legislative tasks are being prepared for the next couple of weeks of activity on the Hill. The Supreme Court has already adjourned for the Summer and will return to begin its next session, presumably with a brand new Justice filling John Paul Stevens seat, on October 4. That day will mark the sixth anniversary of Bound4LIFE.
It was on that very day in 2004 that a large group of young people gathered to pray silently with Lou Engle in front of the Supreme Court and contend in prayer for the ending of abortion. The red “LIFE tape” covered their mouths just as it had been revealed to the team in a dream after 50 days of round-the-clock prayer and fasting. After seeing this in front of the Court a national pro-abortion leader approached one of our team and said, “What you’re doing is brilliant strategy.”
They were right. In just under six years the image of the red LIFE Tape has spread around the globe. Young people praying silently in front of courthouses and abortion clinics have been featured in pretty much every newspaper, magazine and news program out there. Political leaders have spoken to us of the power of seeing the red LIFE Tape. Insiders at the Supreme Court have told us that the Judges talk about us. In February of this year, God divinely moved around our DC team of young people praying in red LIFE Tape so that President Obama had to pass within 10 feet of them twice in one hour. Who knows how many lives have been saved because of the prayers offered in love in front of abortion facilities? What did Planned Parenthood think on January 17 when we surrounded their new Abortion Supercenter with 4,200 young people praying?
Our conviction is that this is a kairos moment of time for our nation. The enemy is raging against the miraculous turn of our culture to pro-life since 2008. Taxpayer-funded abortion threatens to be mainstreamed into the veins of America through the Health Care Bill passed in March even though the majority of Americans are against it. If allowed to stand as is, it will be the greatest expansion of the abortion industry since Roe v Wade. I say “IF” because the tables could yet turn. Something could still take place in the elections or Congress or the Supreme Court that could reverse the disaster before the money begins to be distributed in 2014. We must press in prayer NOW. We can’t afford to wait until later or simply wait to see how it all turns out. History belongs to the intercessor!
We need your help right now. For the most part our team is able to sustain our frugal Bound4LIFE operations through missions support and the sale of Life Bands. However, we’ve entered into a mid-year crunch time when the ends don’t meet. I am asking for your URGENT HELP. Would you prayerfully consider helping us financially right now at this pivotal movement? Right when the Senate is poised to confirm one of the most liberal and political activist Judges in recent history to the Supreme Court, it is vital that we maintain our strong stand to resist the abortion agenda on every front. All donations are tax-deductible and will go immediately towards mobilization efforts here in DC and throughout America.

Prayer Made Illegal in DC
Today prayer was illegal in Washington, DC.

God Cares
God Cares about the ending of Abortion: A Conference to unite, re-ignite, and gather together Pro-Life believers to stand and join arms and fight for the cause of the pre-born babies in our land.
Friday, October 23
7:00—10:00 PM
God Cares about abortion, shouldn’t we? Since 1973, when abortion was legalized in America, one out of three pregnancies has ended in an abortion. A horrifying peril is upon us and yet we remain negligent of the great atrocity of abortion in our land. Abortion, the practice of ending a pregnancy by killing the small baby in the womb, is totally contrary to God’s Word. As Bible believing Christians we must gain a proper understand of how God sees this great injustice of abortion.
Justice House of Prayer in San Diego invites pro-life Christians from all over San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles for an evening of worship and prayer with the band Radiant Worship and also Matt Lockett the director of Bound4LIFE Washington DC.
Saturday, October 24
12:00—3:00 PM
A collaborative for Christian Pro-Life Groups to unite, re-ignite and stand together as we choose to fight for the cause of pre-born babies. This will be a time of strategizing, planning, discussions and dialogues about how we can cooperatively end abortion in our region. Question and Answer, Dialogue, and Teaching Sessions. Christian Pro-Life Groups are invited to bring information.
7:00—10:00 PM Worship & Prayer
A night of teaching, intercession, and worship as we stand in the gap for the nation, for the state of California, and for our own cities. Ezekiel 22:30 “”I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.”
What Does the Bible Say about Abortion
A Rebuttal to Brian Elroy McKinley’s Why Abortion is Biblical: How anti-abortion activists misrepresent the biblical record.
Mr. McKinley’s article on “Why Abortion is Biblical” is a perfect example of scripture being twisted and misused to prove a stance on immorality, and a posture that is anything less than
wicked. So before we dismantle this heretical argument, I would like to give you a crash course on Bible interpretation. This is an important subject for the saints of God, who are to have
a love of the Truth in there hearts. Paul admonishes Timothy to know how to right discern between teachers of false doctrines, and those who would teach and lead men astray through
deceitful words. In 2 Timothy 2:15 Paul says:
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
The Numbers Don’t Lie
“Who, tho’ he has fought against thee, is now reconciled to thee, and will maintain thy cause against all thine adversaries.” - John Wesley.1
Seeds of Intercession
God contends with those who contend against His people. Then He calls us to be a kingdom of priests who do what He is doing in this generation. Intercession is much more than an activity to which we devote two hours of our time each morning and evening. Intercession is much more than a current trend into which we take refuge for a season of time and then move along as the culture sways us. Intercession is the very reason and the very lifestyle for which we are all created. The purpose of this short piece of writing is to call to account and to bring to remembrance the primary vocation of every believer in Jesus. Even though it is our inheritance to go from glory to glory in the place of intercession, we more frequently than we should lose sight of our identity in Christ the Intercessor.
